These are the smallest paintings I have ever done. And yet - they "happened" slowly.

Musical

When I paint music always surrounds me. I often think of paintings as melodic passages where lines and color express movement, harmony and continuity.

Windows

Windows for me are full of meanings and mysteries. They are passageways to emotions, memories and dreams, but mostly - they are about light.

Ancient Latvian Symbols

The ancient Latvians believed in their own gods (embodiments of powers of nature) and created geometric symbol for these. I have "lived with" these signs all my life and they are very dear to me. They talk to me about the beautiful Latvian folk songs and a gentler vision of life. All of these are sold.
